My therapist chose an emotion I was to think about for the week; the first week was "humiliation" and the second, "disappointment". It was a very interesting experience. Like looking for red cars, where suddenly that's all you see around you, I had no trouble identifying humiliation and disappointment in my life when I was "looking" for them and thinking about them.
