Hey! I have OCD, the kind that my thoughts are my obsessions and compulsions. Realize that OCD is a disorder on the end of the spectrum of anxious disorders. I understand your pain! I take a few different meds., but I do take Risperdal for sleep and I'm not psychotic. Just becaue you take Risperdal DOES NOT mean you have schizophrenia -- I actually hear it being prescribed for anxiety like yours more often. Do you see a therapist? It's great that you see a psychiatrist, but a therapist is the one who can work with you on your OCD behaviors and educate you about them. If you need to talk, feel free to PM me.
