I can relate to a lot you have written. I am trying to think at which point the "grrrs" surface. I am thinking when the stress/anxiety becomes a level or two above being overwhelmed, I either have to then grrrrrrr to let it out, or I will burst. Actually, I am not sure what causes the grrrrs or when. Looks like I had a bad case of the grrrs tho..
Sounds like your "survival mode" is a healthy way to deal with being stressed or overwhelmed. Self care is necessary for everyone to remember, "especially when life gets to be too much". If we don't take care of ourselves, nobody else will. Right?
