I live in Boise, which is right next to Eagle where the show was filmed so there is a lot of news about the show here.

They said that the families of the babies and all the children were in a house in the same cul-de-sac, there was a full time professional nanny in the home with the teens at all times, the families did not take any money to do the show as they wanted other teens to see the show and what the teens were experiencing in the hopes that it would make teens want to wait to have kids. Also, the families could take their children out of the teens hands at any time for any reason.

I don't have a child and so I can't comment on whether or not I would want my child there or not. I think with all of the precautions the shows producers took, I may allow a pre-teen there, but not a baby.

I think it is as close to reality as they could get and I hope that it helps teens realize how hard it is to deal with children and maybe keep them from having one!
