I have taken Ambien cr and the regular Ambien. Both worked for me..but i had to go right to bed and not talk to anyone because I would forget what I said and I also needed a full 8 hours of sleep or I would feel "foggy" the next morning. Sometimes I would get a headache for part of the morning..that's only if I didnt get a full nights sleep. My opinion, I wouldn't stay on it. I think it does wonders to regulate the body to go to sleep at a certain hour and wake at a certain hour the same time every day and night. Good luck !
