I don't know whether you have to be diagnosed with SAD but my depression is ALWAYS worse through the winter... I really do believe that being in the sun is one of the greatest natural remedies to depression (well it's a source of vitamin D isn't it?). The only thing is, we (in the U.K.) don't seem to be having the greatest of summers lately either. I dread winter coming round because I can't stand it... it's dark all the time, it's cold and miserable. You leave for work in the morning and it's dark.... and by the time you leave work it's started getting dark again! You can't get out of the house 'cause the weather's terrible.... and then there's christmas too.
I don't know where the symptoms of sneezing, aches, feeling overly tired or cold, bad moods comes into it? I just thought that they were the typical things that winter brought?
Sorry if I weren't much help to you,
Molly
