I'm sorry you are hurting. Love is not something you only have when you are an adult but I'm sure you have been told that.

Losing someone you care deeply about is also not limited to adulthood. It hurts whether you are 14 or 104.

I am assuming you have been going to see a T but stopped. You say you are seeing your T Tuesday. Maybe you can tell him of your concern about going on meds.

Having to go on meds is scarry but can be very helpful. . Each med works differently so some experimentation is necessary. You might not get the results you were expecting on the first try. That's why you have a Pdoc, so you can find the right one for you.

Feel free to post here anytime you need to release your anger or ask a question or just to visit. Most everyone here is suffering or has suffered depression so we do understand.
