That happens to me A LOT. Even in the day, I still get to think, but usually my thoughts get worse at night when I'm about to sleep. I suggest you go watch a movie/TV/DVD til you fall asleep, or listen to music to soothe your thoughts. I just watch something until I fall asleep so as not to think much about stupid and traumatic thoughts.
