hey. i'd give it a bit longer (see how you feel after 10 or 14 days). can take that long to adjust. but then... depends on the severity of the symptoms. how blurry is your blurry vision? does it disrupt your reading or your ability to drive?

with respect to the taste... can you get some sugarfree gum or mints? that might help make it more manageable. i personally couldn't cope with blurry vision after about 14 days because reading is really very important to me. i had something once that rendered me unable to read for about that. then they stopped it because the blurry vision didn't lift.
