I understand, in the end however are we not just machines ourselves? Just of flesh rather than metal? I have never understood the difference between repairing someone with transplanted organs, or replacement limbs and augmenting a healthy person, to become smarter, stronger, more agile, healthier etc.

I do believe that ultimatly we will be succeeded by a hybrid species of man and machine, its inevitable. I think biologically we are now at a dead end with no where to go. It is now time for a superior form to emerge. It is hard to grasp for many people, because of religious or spirtiual beliefs, but I do not think there is any stopping of the process. History only moves forward. Those who think they can reverse all of this and take us back to a "simpler" time are sadly delusional, again my opinion.
