Anti-depressants only help about 30% of the people who try them, so you are not alone.

</div></font></blockquote><font class="post">I think therapists shouldn't insist on anything, especially something that causes the client to fight tooth and nail. Something wrong there. For one thing, it sets you up for failure on meds since you are fighting against the whole idea of pharmaceutical intervention. My first T was kind of the opposite. She refused to see me anymore if I started on meds. I don't think T's should give ultimatums like this, especially in the area of meds, which is not part of their training. It is really counterproductive to give ultimatums. This caused a rupture between me and my T that was never fixed.
