No what you describe sounds an awful lot liek the start of bipolar disorder, although only a dr. can diagnose you. I'd start with getting a medical to rule out any physical changes that could be affecting your mood swings. And seeing a psychologist is a great idea, just keep in mind that they can't prescribe meds, so if you do need meds, you'll probably be referred to a psychiatrist.
The important thing is to be really honest with your dr's and T when you describe how you're feeling. Otherwise they can't help you.
