I'm trying to find out whether my period is screwed up. There's this website called YourDays.com where you can mark when your period starts and all that fun stuff (NOT). This is what it says about irregular menstrual cycles:
How do I know that my cycle is irregular?
If your cycles are occasionally irregular, you should not worry too much. However, if your menstrual cycle frequently occurs more often than every 21 days or less often then every 35 days, or if a period is missed altogether, your cycle can be considered irregular.
Should I be concerned if my cycles are irregular?
An occasional irregular cycle or missed period is usually not a sign of a medical problem. However, consistently irregular periods are often an indication that you have irregular ovulation, or are not ovulating at all. If your cycle is irregular, you need to be evaluated by your physician.
Oh great. Apparently my period is irregular. Now it's day 32/28 and last month I got a normal period BUT it was over a month late. Wasted a crap load of pregnancy tests.
It's not like I miss it though, I would be more than happy if the whole thing stopped altogether :P But I'm kinda concerned because sometime in the future I might want to have children. Maybe when I'm about 30 hahaha.
Does anyone here have this? How is it treated?
