Your home group will just be glad to see you and know you're still committed to the program.

On one of my last and admittedly more spectacular drinking binges in Dec. 06, I decided it would be a good idea to call everyone in my home group to tell them that I was drinking, and of course keep them informed of the progress of my pizza delivery order.

You can imagine how humiliated I felt walking back into a meeting, after that stunt.

They were just all super relieved to see me, although I did get a bit of gentle teasing about it (it was very supportive.)

People in AA get how hard it is, they'll understand.

And you are definitely not a looser.
