I don’t know if you read the link, but the major complaint by parents is “what about the athletes?!?” Practice after school now means that practices will be completed much later in the night. It’s amazing to me that so many people view sports as a necessary part of a child’s education. In my opinion if you have to decide what to cut, sports or curriculum, the decision is a no brainer.
