I can relate to that Rhapsody. Thursday my daughter was upset with me because she called me at 8 am and wanted to go over how to approach her boss with info that she's job looking. Apparently I was rather sharp with her and impatient. That night I called Sarah and was talking to her when I noticed she was real quiet (not her normal way). I asked and she told me about our conversation of the morning. I HAD AND HAVE NO MEMORY OF THAT FIRST CONVERSATION. I vaguely remember getting the phone and nothing more.

It is really distressing to not remember things that others are clear on. I often watch a movie re-run and it is brand new to me even though my spouse says we watched it on DVD before.

I wish I had something consoling or helpful to say, but all I can say is you are not alone. It keeps happening to me also. My daughters handle it just fine, but my hubs is another story! =(
