Hi Greygoose,
The feeling of having offended people comes straight out of the depression locker. It's in there with all the other tricks depression plays on us.
For me, I've known quite a few really rude people in my working life, and it didn't hold them back one bit. Some people even admired them for being 'up front'.
When we're down we spend our time pussyfooting around, not saying 'boo to a goose' and sometimes I'd just like to speak my mind, stick up for myself a bit, just for a change.
You're one of the gentlest and kindest people on psych central and I think that you are being hard on yourself. But, we all do that don't we? That comes out of the depression locker too.
Cheers, e.
