I finally talked him into talking to a neighbor who is a nurse, he only did that to get me off his back, but still I am satisfied. She said both her sons had hernias and that his condition sounded very similar. I was just being cautious, especially with the circumstances of his dad in mind. I am relieved that he will be okay. He's calling off work and going to doc tomorrow. Thanks guys.
