I wish I knew what else to say, but I'm not feeling brilliant either, so my brain is only just working (or it feels that way at least).

Edit: Your post is not garbage. Get the 'mess' cleared up as and when you can deal with it. The sooner the better, but if it's waited a couple of years, giving yourself a couple of weeks to feel better probably won't hurt too much.

With doctors.. it's often like you're another statistic, another problem to be gotten rid of, not a person trying to deal with something. Just keep badgering them all the time, and don't let them fob you off. It's hard work, but sometimes necessary.
