I take Adderall and Namenda but in the last few days have noticed that I am easily distracted again. I'll be watching T.V. and the show will go to commercial and I'll forget what I am watching and have to think really hard to remember what show I'm watching. Also if I'm reading which doesn't happen so much anymore because I just don't have the patience if I even stop to get a drink I lose my place and then have to try to figure out where I was on the page and I get frustrated. I'll be talking to someone on the phone and find myself daydreaming and lose track of the conversation and when I finally catch myself have to ask the person to repeat themselves which usually makes the person mad.

Any suggestions? I just emailed my pdoc's nurse to see if he can up either one of my meds to help with my symptoms.

Namenda is only indicated for the treatment of Alzheimers, NOT ADHD... so why are you taking Namenda?

On RXList.com it also states that: </font><blockquote><div id="quote"><font class="small">Quote:</font>
Signs and symptoms associated with memantine overdosage in clinical trials and from worldwide marketing experience include agitation, confusion, ECG changes, loss of consciousness, psychosis, restlessness, slowed movement, somnolence, stupor, unsteady gait, visual hallucinations, vertigo, vomiting, and weakness. The largest known ingestion of memantine worldwide was 2.0 grams in a patient who took memantine in conjunction with unspecified antidiabetic medications. The patient experienced coma, diplopia, and agitation, but subsequently recovered.

Namenda could be one reason that you are having current issues. I would get a second opinion if you don't feel comfortable discussing this with your current prescribing doctor.

This is not an issue that should be handled without an appointment face to face with your doctor. Increasing the dosage of one or the other medications might actually be harmful without a close review with your doctor (or a second opinion). I hope it works out for you.
