Clinical Psychologist that works with the University of Washington used by the FAA. The position is Air Traffic Controll. GS-12 level facilty.

Most likely the tests will include the MMPI-2 and others. I'm nervous because the test is so long, and they correlate questions together based upon multiple different scales designed to asses personality disorders. After reading about the scales and disorders tested for it seems that everyone I know falls into one category or the other, at one point in time or another.

I also think that it would be a faulty way to test for a disorder if the baseline profiles to compare to were not Air Traffic Controllers. Most Controllers tend to be very independant, overly controlling, and very confident, technical, you name it. I think that it would be an incorrect evaluation to rate my profile against a corporate manager, or a convicted murderer or rapists,...!!!

Anybody know about the MMPI-2?
