I went to see it last night with my girls because one of them wanted to see it. I really wasn't interested as I don't like musicals. But I was surprised--I liked this one! It is a lot of fun and has a lot of heart. I knew nothing of the plot so everything was a surprise to me. I like how they mixed the Abba songs into the plot and they seemed to actually fit. (I don't even like the music of Abba, but this worked!) Very joyful movie. Both my girls (teenagers) liked it too. One of them told me the young female lead, Sophie, was played by the "dumb" girl from Mean Girls. I'm not sure, I couldn't remember ever seeing her in anything, but I thought she was very good, as was the rest of the cast (loved how they mixed in the Greek villagers in the ensemble numbers ).
