You're quite right about how they make money... you left one off too, an annual fee for them to carry your credit I never have a card that charges me yearly for me to use my own good credit! No, I don't play by their rules. I also don't pay late fees they incur, because it's always THEM who are causing it. Just quote the law to them and say, remove the late fee, and make sure it doesn't show up on my credit report either. (You see, they don't give you adequate time to receive your bill and pay it... and then if they decide it takes THEM 2 weeks to process even an online payment, they think they get to charge you for a late payment, and assess interest too! Not on my watch!)
