if it will hurt you professionally, that is something that you will have to deal with. as far as affects on him, he has been doing it for 30 years, if it was going to do something horrible to him i think it would already have done it. imho pot smoking is no worse(if not better) than drinking alcohol. and like alcohol if taken to the extreme, it can be harmful, but occasional use is(other than the legal ramifications) better than drinking. jmho
