Talk with your HR dept. I had the head of mine inform my boss that I was taking disability. He knows a very, very little about my mental health and I didn't want to disclose any more, and HR is bound by confidentiality. Legally, all they can tell anyone else is that you're on medical leave -- if you give a reason, that's up to you. The only other people at work who know what's going on are the two I've told.
