Hi Sarah, I'm sorry that you find yourself in this situation. One thing that I learned on my journey was that I make my life. I found myself living like I had no control over my life. I have since found that taking this control over your life is one of the first steps to mental health. Thinking that you are a victim of other people is not a good position to be in. Changing your thinking out of this victim mode and putting yourself in control of your life feels great. Of course this doesn't mean that you have control over entire situations or other people. It just means that you can have control over yourself and what you allow yourself to be subjected to.
