hi All...
i just got out of the shower (yes, i am dressed now lol)
as i was washing i remembered something a friend of mine had told me about several years past, something i'd tried to make a habit of, but then forgot til now...
have you ever breathed a small amount of water in through your nose while ducking your head under water?
talk about some sensory excitement! wow!
i thought about it a bit and remembered a time past when i nearly drowned.. a child in my class didnt know how to swim and the class all used our physical education time for an afternoon swim at the pool...
when "David" jumped in the 12 foot end of the diving board (guess he just wanted to try it) he instantly began to drown...
i heard one of my classmates yell 'He's drowning!!'
i turned and saw what she was talking about.. a lot of the kids were watching, guess they were scared to help?
myself and another guy jumped in and tried to keep him afloat but we hadnt received the proper lifesaving skills and soon David was climbing on his would be helpers backs and pushing us under so he could breathe himself....
long story short, everyone was saved that day.....
a different friend of mine many years later told me how he 'breathes' a mix of water and salt daily to clear his passageways...
after using heavily chlorinated water for my try, i see what he means about passageways (chile peppers will work too)
it seems important to me (maybe i am wrong) to use the most purified water possible?
it made me think about the relationship of moisture to breathing... i know in my own life i habitually deny myself enough water and those tiny, sensitive membranes in my nasal passage become very dry... and then my breathing ability suffers....
i think it is very important we keep a healthy flow of oxygen to our brains..
ty for reading and replying .. have a wonderful day!
