Have a think about what it is you really want to do. It's not good to isolate yourself when you are feeling down but also sometimes we need quiet time to ourselves.
Be honest with your boyfriend if you can and tell him that you would like to spend some time with him but feeling rough right now. If you explain to him how you are feeling then he will understand better.
