It is harder to be different or outside of the societal "norm" whether it is sexual orientation or anything else.

It is a shame that many are still so myopic in their views (they say values or religion with this topic) but its always going to be there on some level.

Just be yourself and be proud of whatever your choices are. I also find that the less I tell people, they less *&^% I deal with.

Many homosexuals, lesbians or bi people want to come out and and find that acceptance. It comes from within first and foremost and you don't need acceptance to be happy with your choices.
