I'm with wanttoheal on this one also......I would never go some place alone with someone I didn't know at all (& you really don't know this guy at all). He may be a good guy with good intentions....if that's the case, they he will be completely understanding of how you feel about being put into a situation like that.

If he wants to have dinner with you,,,,,have him take you out to a restaurant.....but never never go to his house alone......that would only be asking for trouble & even if it doesn't.....it's just not a good idea for him either.

Keep the friendship in a public place......then if you get to know each other better before ever going alone to his house. If his intentions were good, he would have asked you for your phone # even if he already had it....that way he would know that you want him to have it.

Just too many red flags going on initially......but then again, I am always overly cautious.....but it has always been to my safety.....the one time I wasn't......I realized it was a huge mistake....luckily, it turned out ok.....but it wasn't a good situation.
