Unfortunatly history education in this country is sorely lacking, its a real pet peave of mine. Yours was a good example. Its seems inevitable that what comes around goes around.

Lets see:

High Gas Prices, High inflation, real estate market gone to hell, threatened by Iran, a period of decadant over-consumption followed by a giant national hangover, bad clothes...

Its the late 70's all over... bwah chica wah wah...
