Naaaahhh... The media always uses events like that to scare the pee water out of the people. We have enough small quakes to keep a huge one from happening.

As far as I'm concerned, we had the "Big One" when the Northridge earthquake happened. That one set me on my head! I was sleeping on a water bed. You could hear transformers exploding all over the place. There was no electricity for a few days so gas stations, grocery stores... well, almost everything was closed down. It was kinda spooky. No one was out and about. We did just fine, though.

Hubby and two of the boys were supposed to go out deep sea fishing and I didn't let them go in case of a tzunami, but there wasn't one.

We've got provisions stashed just in case. The worst that can happen is that the mobile will slide off the piers. Better than getting the roof lifted and it coming back down on us!
