I try to keep track of any child missing in Florida. (Amber alerts to cell phone, highway warning alert signs..)
It's a carry over from my SAR days I guess.
But others do feed on the drama from other people's lives, imo.
Even the grandmother said in her call to 911 that her car smelled of dead body. Now, anyone who has smelled that knows the distinct odor, and even people who have never smelled a human decomposing but a large animal, would be able to guess accurately. The cadaver dogs also alerted. That she borrowed someone's shovel doesn't bode well. It's as if she was into her own shed to bury the child in the yard, then couldn't access it when she wanted to move the child and so she borrowed the neighbor's shovel and put the body in her mom's car, which she stole, btw. Then? It appears she may have gone out partying for the rest of the time.

Circumstantial at this point. Wish I knew what the police knew.
But I also wish it wasn't getting the exposure it is. Slow news months I guess.

There are thousands of children that go missing each month, many still alive, that this publicity would help find them. Of course, there are some experts that say that the majority of children that go missing from FL are due to the black market organ trade for South America. (Hey, don't blame me, I'm just reporting here.) Sad situation all 'way 'round.
