You are not to blame! You left thinking everything would be ok, most of us would have done the same thing. It was something that was going to happen at some point, and if you stayed your friend would have just done it later. Your friend is where she/he needs to be, now you have to take care of yourself and DO NOT BLAME YOURSELF.
