I would highly recommend limiting TV while you are still so sensitive. I had to stop watching TV for months because even commercials would trigger me sometimes.
A thought for you about the nightmare...
...if you could fly into the nightmare with super powers, how would you make it end differently?
Try (if you can) to imagine yourself taking control of the dream, and ending it in a way you are comfortable with.
If this is too uncomfortable to even think about -- just be kind to yourself, and get a nice cup of tea or something that is comforting.
