It's sad that there are bullies like that, as I've met first hand Maybe it's because, especially if they have PTSD, they know what it's like to feel powerless and crave the power they never had and the control they ever had, and to gain that, they turn on other people. It's sad that people who should understand what it feels like would take the wrong path and turn into a bully instead of treating others with kindness.

And while maybe they think they have a 'reason' for bullying, it's important not to excuse them- they're in the wrong, and the victim of the bullying is not at fault.
