That does sound like an extremely manipulative maneuver. I have only had that kind of experience with a child who was placed in my home, who had severe Reactive Attachment Disorder (RAD). Maybe she is not being prescribed the right medication. It sounds like you need support from her psychologist or psychiatrist.
