I think it's because you and people like you have been hurt by the people that were supposed to love you.

They are only afraid for you... that this person you found love with will eventually hurt you.

They have their gaurds up. They care for you RozG. I don't think it's because they don't want you to be happy. I think they genuinly love and care for you. Don't be so hard on them, you might react in the same way if the shoe were on the other foot.
