Perna, if you're trying to say that Therapist's note aren't covered by HIPAA, that's wrong. What I pasted applied specifically to Therapist's psychotherapy records & HIPPA, aside from the first part about the several types of records.

A distinction might exist for T’s who aren't licensed, hence not falling under state regulation, but I haven’t seen anything in my look-see about how HIPAA defines what sort of providers are subject to HIPPA oversight--or APA unless they're an APA-approved T.
