Hi camel,
I think I know what you mean.....I had that kind of day yesterday - I tried to eat 'normally' and it totally ruined my day. I was extremely depressed and anxious and I couldn't stop thinking about food.....I felt so out of control!!
This morning I woke up, worked out for 2 hours, did yard work and then took my kids hiking....I've hardly eaten anything and I feel so much better.
I understand when you say it is getting harder and harder...I feel the same.... like it can't go on this way....but how to change it??
Sorry....I guess I'm not much help. But maybe it will help a little to know you're not alone.
