Have y'all ever been so incredibly stressed that it scrambled your brains or you just simply go blank or something like that?
All the time.
My solution is to lie down, until the stress leaves me, and I can re-establish my priorities.
So glad to see you back online.

Sometimes it's not funny and increases the stress/anxiety, even leading to panic. However, sometimes it can be hilarious.
Well, here's a good story to share along those lines:
Yesterday was my oldest grandson's first birthday. My young daughter (only 20) was nervous to host the party and make sure everything was perfect. I couldn't do anything...dr's orders due to surgery.
Anyhow, she was down to decorating the highchair after racking her brain to do the other decorations (I finally helped her a bit there). She tied a helium balloon to the back of his chair and asked what she should do with the other, regular balloons. I just said that they'd look good on the highchair...offhandedly. My idea was that she could put them around the streamer that was covering the front of the tray.
Well, apparently she put string on it and tied it to the back of his highchair like she did the helium balloon. I then look at her because she's huffing and puffing, and she's trying to get a balloon flying in the air and it was sinking. She looked at me immediately and said, "These are broke! Why aren't they floating???"
I started cracking up, asking her if she was serious. She'd just blown them up herself five minutes earlier. She was frustrated at my laughing and still didn't get it! I explained that they weren't helium.
Her face turned beet red, then of course, still being only 20...blamed ME!!! LOLOLOL. She said, "Well, you told me to put them on the high chair!!!" I said, "I meant around the tray or something, even with pain meds, I know they wouldn't fly!"
hehehe.
Does anyone have a funny "stressed silly" story to share?
