I hate the silent treatment! I tell my T that it isn't natural because I feel like he sits and stares at me. IRL, silences happen but the whole focus isn't on you. It is difficult to deal with, -- my T actually turned his chair around and promised not to look at me, LOL. The silence was then okay for me.

Congratulations! I don't know if you feel this way, but when this happens with me and my T, I feel like a part of me has been set free. It's like your T recognized how you were feeling, helped you put it into words to communicate your inner experience, and accepted this part of you.

It doesn't get much better than that! What a great session!
