I used to feed a homeless man years ago when I was taking hubby to work. We'd stop at McDonalds to eat breakfast and if he was in there mooching a cup of coffee, I'd buy him breakfast. I could tell that he has once been a proud man because it was difficult for him to accept what I have him.
He'd eat some of what I bought him and he'd wrap up the rest nice and tidy to save for later. I knew he'd at least have two meals that day.

Yes, it does feel really good to know that you've made someone's day just a tiny bit better.
