i would talk to her ob. however, while mono is very contagious, it is only by direct fluid exchange. my sister had it really bad and the dr had us use a little clorox in the dishwater, and of course no kissing on the mouth or eating/drinking after her, and none of the rest of us got it.

as for the one with suspected mono, plenty of fluid and rest, and don't let her talk you into getting back into stuff to soon. it can be viscious to shake off. took my sister 6 months, and my youngest daughter missed 2 months of 8th grade.
