If you know anyone skilled you could probably empty your hot water heater into containers. Then boil like suggested for drinking. But you also will need some for flushing the toilet.

You simply pour some water in the tank it doesn't have to be full and flush.

But don't waste water flushing. We had a saying at an old cabin, "If its pee let it be." LOL
