Hi to Everyone,

I'm on vacation in a pretty and mountainous area. It's 30 degrees cooler here than back home! It will be a shock to go back to our sweltering weather, but I'm just happy we got to come on a trip.

I'm writing to tell you I'm having a good time because usually I've been writing because I was in a bad place or angry about something. I'm enjoying being with both my grown up kids and with one son-in-law and my oldest daughters fella Proposed to Her!!! It was really sweet that he asked her to marry him with all of us there on a picnic in a mountain park.

This reminds me that GOOD things DO happen! I'm so happy that my daughters are not me - they won't have to deal with the kinds of abuse I had - that helps me to know their struggles will be there, but not like some of mine.

I also wanted to write that I have made decisions to protect my knees from overdoing. I had to fight my extremely healthy and not sympathetic hubs, and I did so to take care of my body. I didn't like misssing out on some of the fun, but I did the right thing for myself.

Anyway, I hope you don't think I'm writing just to brag of all my good news. I just want to say something nice for a change and I hope something nice happens to each one of you sometime really soon.

I appreciate having this place and all of you that I can come to and be whichever of myselves I am at the time. You are all special and mean a lot!!!
