I didn't realize that the adnoids were considered tonsils too.

Both my girls and grandson (as well as myself) have had the obvious tonsils and adnoids removed in childhood.

It's very interesting to learn about that 4th tonsil behind the tongue. I too hope it clears up and she has no more issues with it. I would think that surgery of this type at her age would be a tad more risky than as a child having it.
