SENSE OF HUMOR
Visa Section
Humor is a vital part of life. It offsets solemn or troubled times. It keeps us from taking ourselves too seriously. If we can laugh at our past disappointments and use the laughter to help provide new insights, we have given ourselves self-compassion, the cornerstone of all self-esteem. In this section, list some of the past hardships you've endured, but can now put into perspective with a touch of laughter.
(Example: (LOL) I'm better off without my repossessed car. Now the finance company is stuck with a lemon that leaks in the rain, conks out in direct sunlight and occasionally chases dogs.) hehehe
One of my biggest regrets is having sold my dream home in the city and moving out to the country where we lived like true settlers. We lived in a tent for four months, had to get permits for everything we needed to put in, like water, electricty, phone; in short all the "necessities" of life. Those eight years were rough, to say the very least, but the experience and love that went with it was priceless.
We had goats, rabbits, chickens, geeze, 18 cats

and a huge vegetable garden. I'll always hold dear the love and devotion my "ladies" (goats) gave to me. Why it was necessary for me to learn to dress out rabbits, I'll never figure it out, but I can say I can do it. Why I had to learn to put my arm up a goats reproductive parts and help birth baby goats, is beyond me, but I'll always remember the "grin" that my favorite goat gave me when she dumped the only baby doe she had right in my lap... right along with all the amniotic fluid. I'll never forget how she chased my ex back down the hill. LMAO I'll never forget when my youngest, at eight years old, learned the "facts of life" from the rabbits as he took a picture of the buck mounting a female. And the look on his face!!

Talk about priceless!
The precious as well as painfull memories can go on and on, but most of the time, I can remember and laugh.
YOUR turn!
