Ahh, ok. If he odor you notice is only associated with the blood (especially the dark), I wouldn't be nearly as concerned then. I misread and that's good then.
Alot of women have irregular and/or painful periods and will get on the pill to help that out. Have you thought about that?
For instance oldest daughter played sports and it was good for her to know when she was starting. She didn't have alot of cramping, but got on the pill for mostly a "start date" even though not active sexually.
Youngest daughter was always regular but they were extremely painful with really bad PMS and got on the pill for that.
Several years ago when just starting peri-menopause I was having very irregular stuff going on and often. They put me on the pill to help that even though I'd had my tubes tied 16 years prior. It helped alot.
There are several reasons (other than birth control) that a woman might get on the pill, so it might be a consideration for you to straighten all this out?
It might be something worth thinking about then mentioning to the dr. hon. Good luck!
