I have 4, no 5 good things.
1. Albert. My goofy cat of 9 years who loves to snuggle. He's an empath, checking on everyone in the house.
2. Mitchell, my big boy cat of 7 years who hates to snuggle, except for with Albert. He bats those big blue eyes and entices me to play with him. He's always close by.
3. Pacer, 12 year old Sheltie. A sweetheart who ensures harmony in the home. He watches out for everyone.
4. Herbie, our 4? year old tortoise who shows curiosity and interest, and communicates a gentleness unexpected in such a relic. She's quite a determined little girl.
5. Midnight, the betta fish, who loves to show "attitude" when you touch the tank. He definitely has his own personality.

With the exception of Herbie and Midnight, who can't come, all of these creatures greet me everyday when I come home from work. Unconditional love and acceptance is the best medicine.
